Christ the King’s Youth Ministry, “The Well @ CTK,” has as its primary goal to nurture and guide students toward an active, living relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This goal is accomplished with Bible Studies, spending quality time together, building personal relationships and using our time and talent to serve our community. Service and discipleship play an important role throughout the year. We also travel to Panama City Beach for a week of classes that train students to share their living faith back at their respective schools. In addition, we engage in many other activities such as high school retreat, kayaking, concerts, pool parties and so much more.
The Well meets on Wednesday nights for worship, Bible study, and games; it has been led by Matthew MacKenzie since 2010. He is an Ocala native and a graduate of Grace Christian School, CTK’s primary outreach ministry.
CTK Students CTK Student’s primary vision is to develop a safe and biblically-sound environment where students grow in their love and worship of Jesus, and participate in His Church.
CTK Students will disciple teenagers to:
1) Learn the Gospel by studying God’s Word
2) Live the Gospel by building personal relationships revolving around grace, truth, love, and fun
3) Share the Gospel by empowering students to serve our community and be on mission with their peers.
We will have two options for summer camps:
1) High school students travel to Panama City Beach for the RYM Conference, a week of classes that train students to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their schools, teams, and clubs.
2) Middle School students will travel to Jacksonville, FL for Soul in the City, a local mission-focused camp where students learn to serve where the LORD has placed them. We meet on Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:30 PM for fellowship, worship, and Bible study. In addition, we engage in many other activities throughout the year, such as retreats, movie nights, kayaking, concerts, and pool parties.
