Part-Time Director of Children’s Ministry
This person will have a passion for the Christian formation of children and full responsibility for CTKA’s ministry to children ages birth-5th grade. The Director of Children’s Ministry will be responsible to ensure a welcoming and smoothly operating, safe, and effective program that nurtures, guides, and equips children and their families to be life-long disciples who know, love, follow, and serve Jesus Christ.

What You’ll Be Doing
– Responsible for vibrant and dynamic ministries to children at CTKA by providing excellent programming that children and parents will love and want to invite others to join.
– Manage children’s Sunday Service(s) for 5th grade and below and Wednesday programs, activities and/or outreach events as appropriate.
– Maintain a firm grasp of the culture, strategy, and membership of CTKA with the ability to align programming, leaders, and volunteers with its mission and vision
– Oversee curriculum selection and implementation for all Children’s Ministry programs.
– Able to work from home, as well as some time required on campus Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sundays.

What You Need To Have
– Growing and deepening faith in Jesus Christ; strong Biblical knowledge and Christ-centered values
– Knowledgeable in child development and Christian formation with experience in Children’s Ministry
– Strong administrative, leadership, and relational skills
– Experience in building, overseeing, and developing both staff and volunteer ministry teams
– Demonstrated leadership experience in a large, multi-faceted church
– Strong written and oral communicator

Assistant Youth Minister

This person will have a passion for the Christian formation of youth and share responsibility for CTKA’s ministry to youth 6th through 12th grade with the Youth Minister. In addition, this person will serve Grace Christian School as the Christian Education Teacher for 6th through 8th grade two days per week. The Assistant Youth Minister will be responsible to ensure a welcoming and smoothly operating, safe, and effective program that nurtures, guides, and equips youth and their families to be life-long disciples who know, love, follow, and serve Jesus Christ.

What You’ll Be Doing
– Full time position with hours varying between CTKA and GCS.
– Responsible for vibrant and dynamic ministries to youth at CTKA by providing excellent programming that youth and parents will love and want to invite others to join.
– Manage Wednesday programs, summer retreats, activities, and/or outreach events as appropriate with the Youth Minister.
– Maintain a firm grasp of the culture, strategy, and membership of CTKA with the ability to align programming, leaders, and volunteers with its mission and vision.
– Aide in curriculum selection and implementation for all Youth Ministry programs.
– Work alongside K-5th Christian Education teacher to develop and implement Christ-centered curriculum.

What You Need To Have
– Growing and deepening faith in Jesus Christ; strong Biblical knowledge and Christ-centered values
– Knowledgeable in child development and Christian formation with experience in Youth Ministry
– Strong administrative, leadership and relational skills
– Teaching experience preferred
– Experience in building, overseeing, and developing both staff and volunteer ministry teams
– Demonstrated leadership experience in a large, multifaceted church
– Strong written and oral communicator
– Bachelor’s degree
